Before starting, make sure you are in an open area with no one around and that the tank is fully filled with engine oil and fuel. Then, press the start button 5-10 times and move the chock lever to the off position. With your left hand, hold the blower to the ground and pull the starter cord until you hear a puffing sound from the engine. At this point, move the chock lever to the middle choke position and pull the starter cord until the engine is fully started and running. Wait for the engine to run for about 10 seconds, and then move the check lever to the open or closed position. Let the engine run for about another minute, then you can begin your work.
