Before changing the blade, always switch off and unplug the bandsaw for safety. Loosen the tension knob and carefully remove the old blade. Fit the new one around the upper and lower wheels, making sure the teeth face the correct direction. Adjust the tension until the blade feels firm but not overly tight.
